iPhone 2G Vs iPhone X: OG Model’s Resolution Would Take Up Only 2 Icons On Latest Model’s Screen

When Apple iPhone X goes on sale on November 3rd, the iPhone will be the first for the Super Retina Display sport. That means it will be equipped with a screen measuring 2436 x 1125 pixels, and that's a lot.

We already know that it's very much, but sometimes with these things, you need something to use on a scale. Something to use as an indication of how much resolution it is, say, the original iPhone look from 10 years ago.

An image shared by developer David Barnard on Twitter does just that, and the results are blatantly surprising. A simple image that displays the Home screen of iPhone X, which we see here shows how far the display technology has been present in ten years. Barnard puts the original iPhone Home screen on top of the iPhone X's in an effort to illustrate the resolution change of iPhone 2G iPhone 201G to 2017 in 2007, and as you can see, it works with the same size as the two iOS 11 icons.

As a reference, the original iPhone has a display capable of only 320 x 480 pixels.

The entire home screen of the original iPhone (320×480 pixels) is about the size of 2 icons on the iPhone X home screen (1125×2436 pixels).

Screen technology has grown tremendously since 2007, and if there is one thing that this image imaged, no matter how impressive the current iPhone X is, if we can advance quickly to 2027, chances are, if not Most likely, the latest and greatest Apple will looks just as silly. It's progress, people, and we can not wait to see what's in store for us.

Maybe we should concentrate in 2018 right now.
