Razer's Intro's The Basilisk, A Customisable FPS GAMING Mouse

The leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced Razer Basilisk, a mouse that can be tailored to the latest features for the first person shooter (FPS) game. Razer's rich history of artificial rats is aiming for the next major entry with Razer Basilisk for FPS games.

Razer Basilisk is equipped with the actual 16G DPI 5G optical sensors, the same sensor used in the well-known Razer DeathAdder Elite and Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition, proved superior to precision accuracy and precision from FPS gamers. What's more, Basilisk features the Razer Mechanical Mouse Switches with a range of clicks ranging from up to 50 million industries.

Mouse offers a range of scroll wheel resistance options to choose from. The scroll wheel can be adjusted through the buttons at the bottom to increase or decrease the resistance to match the preferences of each gamer. This can be very useful for gamers who tie a jump to their scroll wheel and want to customize the fly activation to the desired resistance level.

The Razer Basilisk comes with removable clutch to facilitate access to additional mouse actions. The default coupling settings allow gamers to temporarily lower their DPIs to quickly switch between high DPI close combat and low DPI shooting. The clutch is fully programmable and can be set up for push-to-talk, pick-up, or other actions. The clutch comes in two different lengths (short / long) to meet different hand sizes. Rubber clip cap is also included for players who prefer mouse without coupling.

Practice all day for accuracy

All of these customizable goodies wouldn’t be much use to FPS players if this wasn’t a highly accurate mouse, and of course the Basilisk doesn’t disappoint in this department, being driven by a 5G optical sensor boasting 16,000 DPI (the same sensor as seen in the company’s DeathAdder Elite and Lancehead).

The Razer Basilisk’s mechanical switches are rated to 50 million clicks, and the mouse benefits from Razer Chroma customizable lighting, too. It weighs 107g and is approximately 125mm long and 75mm wide.
