Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S9 at the start of 2018 and following the well-received Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 +, there is great hope for a new offering to be offered. Samsung flagships are usually the most powerful Android phones around, and with the next iteration is expected to combine the combination of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and Samsung's new Exynos chipset built on second generation 10nm process technology, power should not be in short supply.
It will now appear that one of the new phones has appeared in Geekbench, but not all good news.

Following the appearance of Samsung devices with the appointment of SM-G960F in Geekbench's results, it is now very much rumored that the unannounced Samsung flagship is being tested. The model number is believed to be the global version of Galaxy S9, showing that we have been crowded with a peek of what we can expect. The problem, though not yet released, will be seen that the Galaxy S9 2018 will benchmark significantly slower than iPhone 2017 X powered by Apple's A11 Bionic chip.
According to Geekbench's results, the global Galaxy S9 scored 2680 on single Geekbench 4 and 7787 single-core tests on multi-core tests. The numbers put him among the most powerful Android devices tested, but with a score of 4197 for single-core and 10051 for multi-core testing, the iPhone X still has it easy to beat. In fact, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus even print impressive results thanks to the appearance of lower resolutions.

Of course, it's important to remember that all of this really matters, and with the Galaxy S9 still far from being released, this score can be easily fixed with the optimization of the software which no doubt still continues. Benchmarks are not always a great indicator of real-world performance, but at least on paper, iPhone X will be beaten!
