One of the most basic and used features of any current smartphone user is the battery life and Network connection or speed. To keep track of the percentage of battery and speed The network can be very useful to keep track of how long your Xiaomi device has and the current network speed. The Xiaomi smartphone comes with an option to enable Battery percentage and Network speed, which can be viewed all the time in the status bar.

How to turn on Battery Percentage on Xiaomi smartphone (MIUI 8/9):
The option to enable battery percentage is available in settings that are turned off by default and you can enable it by following the steps mentioned below.
Go to settings
Scroll to the settings and tap Status notifications & bar.
Now you need to press Battery indicator
You'll see three options - Graphics, Percentages and Top Blades
Select Percentage which will indicate the percentage of battery left behind next to the battery icon
How to show network speed in Xiaomi smartphone (MIUI):
Network speed can be seen always on the status bar that can be very useful in many ways, here is a step by step tutorial on how to activate the option.
Tap on Settings
Now scroll down and under System & Device options, tap on Notification & status bar
Here you can see the Show connection speed option
Turn on the switch on the right side, now you can see the connection speed on the status bar at any time
The percentage of battery and connection speed can be seen at any time in the status bar, whenever visible. Status bar is not visible when you watch Video in landscape mode or full screen mode.
