JailbreakMe-Style Jailbreak For 32-Bit Devices Featured on Video By Tihmstar

The self-proclaimed iPhone developer and hacker 'tihmstar' has been brought to Twitter to upload the jailbreak 'jailbreakMe' demonstration he has been working on for a 32-bit iOS device running iOS 9.

The most popular JailbreakMe solution, which takes advantage of Apple Mobile's Safari app weaknesses to inject payloads and unblock devices, is united by Comex and co-workers and relaunched in 2010 for iPhone 4, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3Gs running iOS. 4 and 4.0.1.

This particular jailbreak is still considered highly regarded as one of the best, most powerful, and easiest to use public jailbreak without the permissions we have seen to date. Owners of compatible devices are only invited to navigate to the correct website in Safari, give instructions for jailbreak to start, and sit back when the whole process is handled through the browser without the need for additional software or withdrawal of devices to PC or Mac to get onboard payload.

We've never seen anything like that because it's easy to use and very easy to do. tihmstar has acknowledged that there is no practical need for its creation because HomeDepot and Phoenix for iOS 9 do exactly the same thing, but hey, it's always good to create amazing things, is not it?

The series of tweets released by tihmstar, firstly, share a video about the ongoing iOS 9 jailbreak and then proceed to provide additional information about its creation. In its current incarnation, JailbreakMe's creation actually does not install an untether at the time of the jailbreak but there is one available through Cydia as a post jailbreak installation. He also stated that he used the Trident bug to get the necessary privileges to make this jailbreak possible and ensure that the bug was patched with Apple's release of iOS 9.3.5.

Finally, iPhone hackers have confirmed that the tooling process can not actually be used to bypass iCloud Activation because "there is no JIT in the active portal". Could JailbreakMe 4.0 really be something and be released to the public if there is additional work done to set it up?

We're not sure how many people still run pre-iOS 9.3.5 devices or how many people benefit from this jailbreak, but it would be nice to look at other existing JailbreakMe-esque solutions and show them even though tihmstar There are currently no plans for publish it.
