How to install TWRP Recovery on Lenovo Vibe K5 Note.

Step 1: First enable USB debugging option in Vibe K5 Note.

To enable USB debugging options, we first need to make sure the developer option is active. for that we need to go to your Settings -> About Phone -> Now tap the build number 7-8 times until you see the message 'You are now a developer'.
Now that we've enabled developer options, go back to Settings-> developer options -> and now enable USB debugging also lets OEMs unlock.

Step 2: Open the adb command window.

Now Open the Fastboot folder (The file you have extracted from the recovery.rar file
Location will Download> fastboot> fastboot
In the above folder you will find adb.exe or fastboot.exe.
Hold down Shift Button and right click on empty space and select Open command window here.

Step 3: Connect Lenovo Vibe K5 Note to PC.

Connect your phone to PC or Laptop by using USB Cable.

Step 4: Reboot the phone to Fastboot Mode.

Now we need to reboot the phone to fastboot mode by typing the following command.

adb reboot bootloader

Step 5: Your device will reboot into fastboot mode.

If not, check if your USB cable is connected properly and you have the drivers installed correctly.
You can check the list of connected devices by typing the following command.

fastboot devices

Step 6 Flash the TWRP Recovery.

This is the time to flash TWRP Recovery. To Start flash recovery, type the following command.

fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

How to Perform a Root Lenovo Vibe K5 Note using TWRP Recovery

To do root on your phone you need to install SuperSu.zip. This is the main file that will give you root access to your device.

Steps to install SuperSu on your phone.

Move the SuperSu.zip you've downloaded, to the internal root of your phone's memory. (With root I mean there is no incoming folder to your internal storage and place the file there and not in any folder.)
Booting Lenovo Vibe K5 Note in recovery mode by pressing Volume Up + Power key simultaneously.
After that in TWRP click on the Install menu and select the SuperSu.zip file you place in the root of the internal storage to the root device. Now slide to install SuperSu.zip.

That's it you have rooted and installed TWRP recovery on your Vibe K5 Note. You can check if root access is working properly by the Root Checker app from the play store.
